The Dimensions

Flap barrier systems JDYZ-15 provides fast access clearance with minimum supervision. They use two acrylic wings as blockage and retracts into the stainless-steel pedestal on receiving an opening signal from any external devices connected. Each lane is fitted with sensor to ensure proper access clearing and the safety of the pedestrian before the wings closes back. The flap turnstile barrier gates can be configured for entry, exit or bi-directional access. There are also designs that are suitable for handicap wheelchair use. They’re recommended for indoor installation only and suitable for use in many environments like factory; immigration checkpoint; commercial building and etc.

In total, they are high-performance flap barrier gate engineered to deliver fast, secure, and intelligent pedestrian access control for modern commercial, corporate, and public environments.

FAQs
What are flap barrier systems?
They are security auto gate barrier devices designed to control pedestrian access through gates or entry points, featuring swinging or sliding panels that open when an authorized credential is presented, allowing for secure and efficient movement.
What benefits can flap barrier systems offer?
1) Have fault self-checking and alert prompting mechanism that is easy to use and maintain;
2) Direct programming from the control board is available for the running status.
3) Mechanical design and induction anti-pinch capabilities
4) The alarms have sound and light function.
5) Anti-shock function; if no open signal is received, the swings are automatically locked.
6) A synchronization feature for the telescoping boom;
7) Function for automatic reset. When the gate is open, the system will immediately revoke the user’s license to pass during this period if pedestrians do not pass within the allotted time.
8) When there is a power outage, it automatically opens and closes automatically after power on
9) Flexible access control system integration.
10) Access in one-way or bidirectional mode
How do flap barrier systems work?
The working logic of a flap barrier systems is precise but intuitive.
Standby (Closed State)
The flaps remain closed, forming a physical barrier.
Access Request
A user presents valid credentials such as:
RFID card
QR code
Biometric (fingerprint or face)
Mobile credential or ticket
Authentication & Authorization
The access controller verifies the credential against predefined rules.
Flap Retraction
Upon approval, the flaps retract smoothly, allowing one person to pass
Auto-Reset
After passage, the flaps return to the closed position, ready for the next user.
Emergency Mode
During power failure or fire alarm activation, turnstile flap barrier systems switches to fail-safe mode, keeping pathways open in line with life-safety requirements.
What materials are flap barrier systems made of?
They are typically made of stainless steel cabinets with tempered glass or acrylic flaps, designed for durability and modern architectural appeal.
Can flap barrier systems be used in outdoor environment?
It is primarily designed for indoor use, but some weatherproof models are available for outdoor environments. The stainless steel flap barrier gate systems are constructed to withstand environmental factors such as rain, dust, and temperature variations.
What happens during power failure / emergencies?
They are designed with an inbuilt battery backup that enables the flaps to be opened during power failures. This feature ensures that people can safely exit the facility in case of emergencies.
Are flap barrier systems suitable for high-traffic areas?
Yes, they are designed for high pedestrian throughput with advanced safety sensors.
Where are flap barrier systems commonly installed?
They’re commonly installed in corporate offices, IT parks, metro stations, airports, commercial buildings, educational institutions, and government facilities.
How are flap barrier systems different from tripod turnstiles?
It uses electronic panels instead of rotating arms, offering faster throughput and higher aesthetics
