DC 24V digital brushless motor automatic road barrier offers variable opening and closing time intervals to regulate traffic during peak periods and prevent long queues and is usually used as automatic traffic management for parking lots and security access. To detect and prevent tailgating cars from entering into secured areas, it is fitted with standard interfaces for vehicle detectors or IR sensors. The automatic road barrier uses a DC brushless motor in combination with sturdy planetary gear and a versatile controller to give the longevity required to handle modest operations up to high-volume facilities without trouble. The use of a brushless DC brushless motor in conjunction with a sinusoidal lever system enables smooth gate arm travel with no bounce in the end position. Its drive unit mechanism is made up of a powerful 24V brushless DC motor with a strong planetary gear, which is coordinated with a one-of-a-kind lever system that allows for smooth and regulated movement of the traffic arm. Its housing is powder coated for corrosion resistance and is designed to survive the roughest situations. The arm is built of lightweight aluminum with an interior structure for robustness, including the ability to withstand strong winds.
With straight or flexible arms, the automatic road barrier can be used for both outdoor and indoor applications. When it is installed in parking garages with limited ceiling height, an articulating arm will be used. This will allow an arm to be placed across the lane but when the arm is raised, then it articulates around a fulcrum point. In the event of a power outage or an emergency, a lever can be used to manually raise or lower the barrier.
The vehicle barrier gate has an adjustable speed for varied boom lengths. Each boom length is set to a preset working speed but can be modified (through the control board) to operate faster or slower depending on the situation. The optional breakaway release arm protects the motor and gate from damage if a vehicle collides with the barrier arm. It’s commonly employed in commercial and industrial applications such as office buildings, airports, and expressways, and is typically operated automatically by a card reader, remotely, or manually within a guard station.
